Introduction to Daoist Yoga

April 11-15 & May 23-27

The 100 hour introduction to Daoist Yoga gives you a solid introduction to the mechanics of Chinese healing movement systems. Here you will learn the physical and energetic language behind the traditions of qigong, taiji (tai chi), and gongfu (kung-fu).These practices include opening the joints, using and adapting common stances & postures, animal themed movements, and a series of supporting meditative practices, This is part of an integrated series of 100hr programs that teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of Asian somatic, meditative, and healing practices. 
 
 

Foundations of Qigong

June 27-30 & August 15-18

The 100 hour Foundations of Qigong course focuses on how to feel, move, and transform qi. In this course, we will cover several integrated approaches to self-healing including: yin & yang, the three treasures, and the five phases. This gives you multiple physical, meditative and blended methods to harmonize body, emotions and mind through using and modifying techniques that have stood the test of time. This is part of an integrated series of 100hr programs that teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of Asian somatic, meditative, and healing practices.
